Jana Bauer

Jana is originally from Germany but moved to Wales decades ago, fell in love with the country and decided to settle and raise a family here.

A mum of two Jana ensures that her native language is passed down while still learning the Welsh language through her husband and her boys. She enjoys exploring Wales’s vast culture and countryside through walking, camping and day trips. As a keen advocate for social and emotional well-being, she participates in a number of community-based activities and supports her local Scouts section as Beavers Assistant Leader.    

Jana’s role is supporting the team with any project administration, ensuring that processes and procedures are adhered to and directing project interests to their right contacts. She also works with clients to ensure that we and they have all the necessary information for the smooth running of the project. She has worked for the University since 2011 predominantly in the role of a European-funded project.
