Kris Oakey

Kris has lived in her home town of Pontypridd most of her life apart from a 5 year period of living in Saudia Arabia.  She is Welsh Speaking having attended the very first Welsh medium school that was opened in the Pontypridd area.

Kris has 2 grown-up children.  She likes to keep fit in her spare time and is a member of the local gym.  Kris is interested in all kinds of music and her family ancestry knowledge states that she is distantly related to the Welsh composer and actor Ivor Novello.

Kris has worked in Administration for most of her working life, in Local Government and in particular the Education Sector working with Primary and Secondary Education.  More recently she has worked in Welsh Government and the Finance department at the University of South Wales. Her role within the CEMET team is administrating the project, ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to and being the first point of call for all clients.
