Zen RS
Using AI for 3D Network Analysis
ZenRS conduct investigations, gather intelligence and provide security advice across the globe. They operate within the cyber-intelligence sector, providing intelligence for businesses of all scales.
Part of the ZenRS offering includes analysis on an individual’s social media activity, their current software represented these networks in a two-dimensional view.
Due to the complexity of the information displayed within this software, it was difficult for the user to read. ZenRS turned to CEMET to get this information displayed in a more user-friendly way. They were also keen to rectify how the software scales on larger networks.
ZenRS approached CEMET to develop software that would display any number of social media networks in a 3D view. This would allow ZenRS access multiple pieces of information within a network no matter how complex.
Clustering Groups of People Through AI
CEMET also implemented clustering algorithms which create clear groups of entities based on connections, location, employer, and education. For complex networks ZenRS are now able to filter people by number of connections, allowing their analysts to focus on individuals with a low number of connections and clearly see if those people are connected to each other.
Next Steps for ZenRS
The initial feedback from their analysts who use the software regularly has been very positive and the developers at ZenRS are now continuing to develop the product. Viewing multiple pieces of information in 3D view has proved very efficient for the team. ZenRS will now continue to deliver this product to external stakeholders within a niche market.
